But there is a reason why we consistently harp on the fact that LSU fans have the lowest football IQ of any fan base in the Southeastern Conference. Most were in denial after the hire and felt vindicated after 2019. The simple truth is - and it's good to see LSU fans finally accepting it - that Aranda, Brady, and Burrow were 100% responsible for the "greatest season of all-time." Orgeron was just the Cajun-talking mascot.

At the end of the day, he's the same incompetent oaf who led Ole Miss. What's worse, he's an enabler when it comes to allegations of sexual assault and he has no problem stealing money from Children's Hospital.

I think 2019 was probably worth the Orgeron experiment when it's all said and done.

O isn't smart enough to do all of this.

He would've accidentally told the media about it himself.

Yeah, every other fan base after winning a national title has the wisdom and foresight in that same scenario, still wants the coach fired and expects going from sugar to shite in the immediate future.

Dumbfrick.

Lol frick yeah it was.

There’s not one school in this conference and probably not one in the country that wouldn’t make that trade outside of Bama and Clemson

Coach O: undefeated vs coach bowl cut.

Coach O: 1 national championship; Coach Bowl Cut: 0

Coach O: 1 win vs Saban; Coach Bowl Cut: 0 wins vs Saban.

So what did we learn today kids? Coach O is still a better coach than Shart. Very sad.

I admit I was completly wrong about this guy. All summer I would get on here and say last year was an outlier. It turns out 2019 was an outlier. looking back I should have known after he fired matt canada after a few games in 2017 that it was a red flag. He inherited aranda from les even though dave hated ed. He forest gumped his way into burrow which won him a championship. He hired pelini without interviewing him, divorced his wife who was sick at the time. So yeah I was delusional and I admit my mistake. I hope he get fired yesterday. Even though Idk who would even want this job with the disfunction in the administration and having to live in a 3rd world shite hole of a city

If he's fired in the next couple of months and they hire someone competent to replace him, 100% yes.

If he somehow manages to survive until next year or they make a shitty hire....maybe not.

—Ed... Trent Crimm, The Independent. Have you ever considered going the Childrens Hospital route?

—That's a good idea, Trent. I'll look into that.

I believe everyone said Head Coach Orgeron is a fine coach, a native of his beloved state and a leader of young men and that hasn't changed.
LSU is lucky to have him.

Don't know what the OP is remembering.

National Championship so don't care. Another Coach will come to LSU and win another one. It's how we roll.

You really showed those 9 LSU fans who thought O was legitimately a good football coach

Hey, give us credit. We knew too. Ed's hiring was among the biggest melts in Tiger Rant history.
