Looking forward to the two players suing the shite out of the SEC to get paid because they apply rules differently across the board.

LSU: we will play pros if we want to
SEC: no you won’t
LSU: oh yes we will
SEC: no you wont. Try us.
LSU: see our roster. No pros but two slots open
SEC: you will not put pros on your roster
LSU: imagine if we had pros playing
SEC: imagine getting kicked to the curb
LSU: our roster is full. No pros.
SEC: that’s right, now go sit in a corner
But yes, by all means. The SEC caved .

SEC had no evidence of wrongdoing, therefore they caved and withdrew.
Lots of evidence of lack of institutional control. LSU is currently on probation.
2011-12 — NCAA major-infractions case. Recruiting violations. LSU put on probation.
2012-17 — Booster John Paul Funes provides $180K in impermissible benefits to a football player’s family using money embezzled from a hospital foundation.
2013 — Les Miles investigation intentionally stored offsite. AD Joe Alleva recommends firing him. LSU keeps him.
2017-19 — Will Wade caught on FBI wiretap discussing a “strong-arse offer.”
2019 — LSU suspends Wade after he refuses to meet with LSU/NCAA officials. Reinstates him 5 weeks later.
2020 — LSU’s handling of sexual misconduct allegations exposed.
2020 — Odell Beckham Jr. hands LSU players cash after the national title.
2020 — LSU self-imposes scholarship cuts, recruiting restrictions and a bowl ban amid the NCAA investigation.
LSU’s statement:
“This decision reflects LSU’s commitment to compliance with NCAA regulations and maintenance of institutional control.”
2021 — Independent review finds systemic Title IX failures. Verge Ausberry suspended 30 days without pay.
2022 — LSU fires Wade after an NCAA Notice of Allegations containing multiple Level I allegations.
2022 — Separate NCAA case: Football commits COVID dead-period recruiting violations. One year probation.
2023 — IARP resolves the football/basketball case: multiple violations, failure to monitor, 37 football wins vacated and 3 more years probation, beginning when the prior probation ended Sept. 21, 2023.
The NCAA also alleged lack of institutional control. The IARP did not sustain that allegation.
2024 — LSU pays $1.9M to settle Title IX claims. No admission of liability.
2026 — LSU rehires Will Wade.
The AD announcing the hire? Verge Ausberry.
2026 — Wade pursues international pros, an NBA draft pick and players with professional basketball experience.
2026 — LSU pursues outside capital tied to future SEC media revenue.
2026 — LSU pushes to add players who signed NFL contracts and went through NFL camps.
Sept. 2026 — The SEC sues LSU. Ausberry is a named defendant.

Why did this "bluff on expulsion" come after LSU publicly stated they would not roster the two players?
Because it wasn't enough for the SEC to win the PR battle. My best guess, TBH. Some silent compliance while Lane ran his mouth didn't give the W the SEC needed.

Lost in all the drama is the impact a Fed decision on a conference’s right to govern its members. Would impact all conferences and divisions. Still think that fed decision has to be made at some point barring some type of legislation.

The SEC caved today. Perhaps you missed the news
Yeah, LSU won this as we knew they would. The SEC are giant fricking vaginas that got slapped upside the head with a giant Tiger dick.

You're confusing the court case, with schools voting to keep LSU in the SEC.
That wasn't happening either way, lol. It was always posturing. LSU provides 800 mil in revenue on a down year. Not playing the games and not having LSU wouldve been a breach of contract with ESPN. Money talks bullshite walks. This isn't the scar cocks we are talking about. Voting them out would've been a foregone conclusion.

You are what happens when your team hasn’t beaten a team since 1994.

when the meeting does happen there will be punishment from the SEC for getting too big for your britches.
And LSU will punish ole miss in two weeks for hiring a drunkard head coach

Let this sink in, SMU in the days of the SWC were penalized heavily, what followed was the end of the SWC. If you don’t think blood thirsty Lawyers would line up to sue the SEC then you brain is less than a peanut. Those law suits would not even have to come from the LSU side. Sponsors, tv rights, advertisement, etc. the burden of proof would have then sifted to the SEC.
I am sure Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Alabama have goods of LK, however not reporting those irregularities makes them complicit. The SEC stalled today no matter how you want to look at it from your point of view.
I was hoping they would can LSU to see the downfall of the conference that would have followed.

Probably. LSU fans realize prob the whole league hates him. It is not an insult. The whole SEC hated the guy that he wears a visor to show homage to and coach like(Spurrier).

Did they hate Lane when he arrived at Ole Miss? I really don’t remember because I was so excited to have Mike Leach and Lane Kiffin both in the SEC and in Mississippi? Solid gold!!! IMP
