Alabama also had massive scholarship losses and multiple Coaching changes.

Well, if you extend the same time period starting the year after Bryant retired, the teams are 14-14 against each other.

It should be noted LSU experienced its darkest decade during this time and went through several coaching changes as well.

Point being, your contention is still flawed unless you’re arguing that Bama and LSU are similarly situated to how they were 50+ years ago.

It’s unlikely your team continues a regular arse beating against LSU or the rest of the Big 6. The more likely scenario is that these teams will be more competitive with each other.

5 wins and no bowl game might be the end of the Pittman era at Arkansas. 6 gives him another year.

It is actually, by the standards of Arkansas, a fairly forgiving schedule and we don't have the 4 road games in a row "why the hell do we play in Dallas" stretch that destroyed the team last year.

Texas is laughable at 10.5
How come? They were objectively the best team in the SEC last year and won the conference

Awe poor gump is gonna have a hard time in the DeBust era. You’re HC had only two years of P5 HC experience and your coordinators only have two years of coordinator experience lol enjoy

Just like the 2021 Jimbo love A&M win total was set at 9.5 after winning the Orange bowl (their best finish in 80 years). Then proceeded to go 8-4

Sure, hence my comment stating unless you go back 50+ years.

Again, the majority of those wins came under the two greatest coaches in the hisory of the game. Unless Saban is comming back or the Bear is ressurected, the regular arse beating you speak of is not going to materialize.

No one is really talking about them or really giving them a second thought right now; which, as an Auburn fan, is the way I like it.

?????? this schedule for oklahoma is like running into a gay bar backwards with your cheeks spread apart...maybe we will surprise some folks, norman is a tough spot to leave with a win for opponents.

You're new here.... But you do not want to turn on the Aggies with comments like that.

Only a closet aggie fan masquerading as a gator fan could self-own themselves this hard by saying Texas has an easy schedule because they play both a&m and Florida

DeBoer turned a 4-8 Washington team into 11-2 in his first year. Beat Texas. Then 14-1 , beat Texas again.

The question should be "Why shouldn't Bama be better in 2024?"

Does anyone doubt that Bama's offense will be a lot better this year?
