It is perfectly acceptable to lose to a program like Texas, it is not held against you. A weak schedule like Clemson and Notre Dame played will not be held against you if you win the games.

However, if you lose to LSU you will not be in the playoff, that loss is just unacceptable and you will not be considered if you do so.

Amazing that just 7 years ago losses to LSU weren't bad losses and didn't prevent a team from winning a national title.

Why do you think Bama stopped losing to LSU?

Actually they made it unacceptable to lose to Purdue

Because Ohio state is the best team left out imo

I think they made it clear that a two loss team will not jump a one loss team from a power conference.

I know you are trolling, because that’s just who you are. LSU has taken your soul just like cajunbama, texag7 , and many others.
However for arguments sake, Georgia has two losses and didn’t win their conference. Did you really think that a one loss champion OU was going to be left out?

If UGA had only one loss - yes, they would have

It matters a little. See shitty like UCF. They weren’t even considered and they haven’t lost a game since like 2016.

If Ohio State played a better team in their conference championship game then they would have gotten in over OU

They made perfectly clear that LSU is the last 2-loss team that will EVER see a championship.

1 Alabama 13-0
2 Clemson 13-0
3 Notre Dame 12-0
4 Oklahoma 12-1 (1-1 vs Texas)

4 = enough; ensures 2 best/most deserving in.

Georgia - lost 2, lost bigly to LSU
Ohio St - lost bigly to 6-6 Purdue, close calls
Michigan - lost 2, lost bigly to OSU
UCF - would lose 3 or more vs an SEC schedule

Auburn would have gone in 2017 if they won the SECCG.

You missed the part where your had a loss to LSU AND another team.

You also missed the part where your team lost to LSU by 3 scores and the team from 7 years ago lost by 3 points in overtime.

That LSU team from 7 years ago was also undefeated and #1.

Interesting troll, and I respect it. You should probably shoehorn in Arkansas and TAMU somewhere in there for maximum rustle. Those two fanbases drive LSU fans crazier than Bama ever does.

Yes but Les Miles said, "we were undefeated in regulation"
