Correct me if I am wrong, but, isn't this new system composed of all HUMAN elements in selecting the Four Playoff Teams?
In any system involving humans, you are going to deal with subjective bias. Throughout college football, there is a perception that Alabama is the premier program and Nick Saban is the best coach. This is a subjective bias that I'm not sure that the humans on the selection board can overcome.
They have this bias for Bama in them and I don't see any way that a one loss Bama team doesn't make the Playoffs, not only this season but as long as this system exists.
This new System practically guarantees Alabama a spot in the Four so long as Bama has no more than one loss. . . . and Alabama rarely has more than one loss.

Auburn has the better resume for sure. The rankings won't matter since you guys will play.
Funny all the Bama fans are back on the playoff bandwagon. 2 weeks ago the season was basically over. Funny what rolling 2 cupcakes can do for your confidence. They are improving though.
