Sounds like Alabama Syndrome

And why is that worthy of a thread? #boycottNFL
The NFL sucks.
The NFL sucks.

You guys are definitely creating your own dynasty, however, you have a long way to go to match UCLA's run.

Because of the Pats always winning, they have made the NFL un-watchable and not fun anymore.

I'd feel sorry for you....but I feel that would be wasted energy

Yeah, I couldn't agree more. God forbid, in a
competitive atmosphere, raising the bar even
higher and causing others to have to work harder,
be smarter, set goals and likely be even better as a result. It's just not fair !

And I thought you had to have a bunch of tall receivers to be able to win?

The patriots are awesome and the nfl is better when they are in the game.

Personally I think the NFL dodged a bullet (or made a desired outcome happen).
Only certain NFL teams have much of a fanbase outside their own geography. If we had had a Jacksonville-Philadelphia Super Bowl it wouldn't have been very interesting for most of the oountry, and probably would have had very low ratings - after last season with all the controversy and what appears to me to be a long term decline in the public's interest in the NFL (all football actually).
I think the NFL would have been fine with Dallas, Green Bay, maybe Denver, Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl if the Patriots had somehow fallen. But those teams either lost in the playoffs or never made it in the first place.
My two cents.
