Utah State did hang almost 40 on them last week. Very tough opponent
How much prep do you think they put into Utah State last week vs looking forward to this week
Even then, when it got tight, Vandy pulled away.
Vandy is a well coached team with good onfield leaders. They just happen to run an offense that challenges Alabama teams.
I think it is a Bama blowout because they are prepared and switched on at game time, or a frustrating game with a narrow Bama win.

But not the best QB in the game.

You mauled a shitty SC team... and that's about the highlight of your current resume. Alabama wins comfortably by 2+ TDs.

I don’t dispute anything you’re saying.
My only point is that characterizing last year as hinging on a pick 6 does not accurately frame the game. It may be true that the play sealed the game, but that doesn’t capture the full picture.

I think it is more telling of the value the losing fan base places on a game to always attribute a game to the other's Super Bowl.
Facts are more likely that UGA lost theirs, and Bama simply got a quality wins over a quality opponent in UGA... again.

It was a shitty thing for him to say. I never wish harm on anyone in a sports game. Take him out of the game defensively through scheme and execution.
But, pump the brakes. Vandy very well could win, but the Vandy backup is not walking out for mop up duty.
I'm just messing around.
Vandy has a lot to clean up on defense and penalties to pull off another win.
If they can keep Jam Miller from running very effectively they'll have a better chance to slow down Bama's scary receiving weapons.

Be worried about a letdown game after the big emotional uga win, and Vandy is the last team you want to come out flat against because this will be their superbowl

It’s really great after all these years to have a Vandy fan talking smack.

Honestly, if Ty is switched on, I don't think a lack of run game will slow Bama's offense down.
If Bama balances run and pass effectively, the game won't be close.
Vandy needs to control time of possession and hope to disrupt the Bama passing game and win the turnover battle.

Minus 7 points leaves it at 33-35 by my count. Bama still made it a game in spite of their utter ineptitude. The scoreboard is all that matters. You're being pedantic but you're not wrong. Feel better?

Might be the better team, hard to know just yet.

I don't know that you really can slow down the passing game much.
Just try to make them one-dimensional and control the clock to keep them off the field.

About the same amount of prep we put into them last year. Call your tits.
This year they’re not sneaking up on us

I don't believe you really want our players injured, just as I never want to see a guy hurt.
Heck, I'm still mad you have a missing the first half because of a bogus targeting ejection.

Over 56.5 seems like a better bet than most.
I've been betting the Vandy over for 3 weeks in a row and watching their games in multi-view. The game has slowed way down for Pavia, and he is toying with defenses. Also the number of wide open running lanes and wide open receivers in Vandy's offense is incredible.
"But yeah, but those games weren't against Bama's defense" might not work here. Georgia's run game just looked better against Alabama than it had in the last year and a half. It was basically "damn, where's this run game been?"
And then Bama basically has an NFL passing game right now with NFL level coaching and the quarterback and receivers playing at an NFL level. Sacking Ty Simpson is damn near impossible. He gets the ball out so quick, and when pressure does get there he can really move in and out of the pocket.
Vanderbilt – 75
Alabama – 90
