I don't know if Bama deserves to be in or not, but I 100% know OSU doesn't. That loss that bad (combined with a 15 point loss at home) should disqualify them.

If Wisconsin beat MSU, or LSU, maybe they'd be respected. Neither of those teams are more than slightly average. But frick, they're something.
Wisconsin didn't go on the road to Auburn and win.
I haven't shite on Wisconsin all year. But they have to beat OSU to legitimize themselves. And if they win. I'll be their biggest fans. I'm not in the slightest sold on Alabama.
But Alabama should be in if Wisconsin loses.

All I know is you haters care a lot more about whether Bama gets in than I do. 11-1 is still a tremendous season, playoff or not.

I have been saying for a while that I would not mind seeing it end up this way. It would be something that has never happened and would never happen again. Since it is something really crazy it would be the most Auburn thing that could happen!!!
Also, wouldn't mind seeing teams changed up a bit in your scenario and round one end up AU/OU and Bama/Clemson. Both AU and Bama get revenge for their post-season losses last year and Iron Bowl Part Deux for the NC.

Being 4th or 5th of course means you get in or not but I will accept either. I don't want to see a playoff expansion and Bama or OSU, Miami and TCU (if they win their respective conferences) all have flaws. I can accept any of them getting in or being left out. I personally think we are the best of the lot. Especially if you give out LB's that recently came off the injured list a full month to prepare for the PO's. But, it's all shades of gray.

That leaves us with: Clemson, Wisconsin, UGA, and Alabama.
I have a feeling the committee would never allow for an all SEC title game, so look for the two SEC schools being seeded 2/3 and meeting in the Sugar Bowl.
Not bad for a "down" year in the SEC.
