I present Joe Burrow

77.9%—384 yrds/g—3.92 tds/g—0.46 ints/g—201.5 rating

Should be a good thread for everyone to present their player and stats

I’m actually asking a legit question

Joe doesn’t have the best career, but I think he had the best season

I don’t think we will ever see a QB complete nearly 80% of his passes in this league again.

Obv. you’re splitting hairs picking between Burrow this year and Cam in 2010. Would argue Burrow has a much better cast around him, as well as better offensive coaches. Cam did it all by himself

He obviously did.

Closest comparison is Cam, and Burrow shat on him

Not really

Cam 2010

66.1%—312 total yds/g—3.57tds/g—0.5 ints/g—182.0 rating

Burrow is giving you 13% better completion pct, 72 yrds mlre a game, 0.5 tds more a game, and a 18 point higher passer rating

Tim Tebow 2007

66.9%-252.8 yrds/g-2.46 TDs*/g-0.46 INT/g-172.5 rating

Winner of:
Heisman
O’Brein
Maxwell
AP POTY

*passing TDs only...rushing TDs would bring total to 4.26

What if we throw in his 900 yards rushing and 23 rushing TDs?

That puts him at 4.23 TDs/g.

I feel like you're conveniently leaving off a lot of Cam's stats for some reason.

So Finebaum tweeted that he just voted for Joe Burrow for Heisman during the 3rd quarter of our game yesterday and the reponses are filled with gold.

One of my favorites, that's related to this thread:

Wow. Burrow throws, Hurts throws and runs, but I guess having one effective skill is better these days than having two. I guess Hurts 50 total TD’s is less than Burrows 48 also then.

Immediately followed by this from the same guy:

My bad Paul, Burrow has 51 total TD’s with his 3 rushing this year and is undefeated. I was wrong. He deserves it because of those two facts.

To be fair, look at Cam and JFF rushing statistics and it makes it pretty damn close. Burrow is by far the best passer in the history of the league though.
