No you didn’t. That stadium has way too many people too far from the field to hit 140

West Virginia should be in the SEC over Mizzou imo.

125 isn’t a new record in the NFL or College. Plenty of 130s and 140s.

They look good on paper but small state with a small population to feed themselves from a recruiting standpoint (product) and eyeballs (media $$$$) to say nothing of their rowdy fans (not always in a good way). If memory serves, they throw glass bottles instead of plastic. They now sell liquor inside the stadium, so throwing gas on the fire. Great for a game in your youth but not so good to travel with the kids and grandkids. They invented couch burning. On top of all that they go in the opposite direction of recent academic SEC addictions.

If the presidents and lawyers are making the decisions today, too much liability in Morgantown tho personally I would love the "Backyard Brawl" be another SEC vs non SEC rivalry in the SEC portfolio, especially with Pitt now in the ACC.

Old school (along with Night Train, MD 20/20, ThunderBird, and only other wines aged a FULL week in particle board barrels).

WVU are mountain people (like KY and TN) so the drink of choice in the clear hill spring water that is both illegal and highly flammable. Have had my share of all 3, KY and TN have the more natural spring water as neither has caused me blindness, tho I do need glasses to see. Can not say the same for WVU.

Death valley and the Swamp are also both up there for sure as well, neither are easy to play in

I visited all of the SEC stadiums except Mizzou when I was in college, and Auburn was the most impressive to me (outside of Death Valley of course). That's including the 2010 Florida game which went down to the final drive where LSU won it with a TD with 6 seconds on the clock.

We played Tennessee in Knoxville in 2011 but it obviously was a route from the start (one of our best teams ever). I would like to go back for a competitive game. It definitely had potential as both a game environment and game-day environment as a whole.

As good as Auburn 2008 was, it didn't come close to the my personal Top 5 tiger stadium experiences (Florida 2007, Georgia 2003, Alabama 2012 & 2014, and Auburn 2007). Part of that is probably bias and also being surrounded by other LSU fans cheering for the same thing.

Those stadiums are also either domed or engineered so sound is captured better.

Doing 125 in Neyland is like doing 135 or so in one of those stadiums.

The loudest I’ve ever heard and away stadium.

Ole Miss Pick 6 LSU 2003
Florida Tipped TD 2008 LSU
Auburn 2004
Washington 2009
Bama 2007 punt return LSU
Arkansas Little Rock D Mac TD run

So then if they play on a neutral site, say in Atlanta, that the teams are even?

All the young CFB fans are quickly learning why nobody likes Tennessee when they're good.

Only three above 130 decibel in CFB are Washington, Clemson, and LSU.

It's a loud and hostile environment once every 16 years? I guess that's impressive

This is a valid point. I'll Bud Walton for example. When Anderson was the coach, Bud would get crazy for only certain games per year (like Kentucky, Michigan, Syracuse,ect.). For the other games, it was ok for the Bud standards. Since Muss got here you can't get a ticket. Even the red white games have lines out the door.

Tenn football and Arkansas basketball are a lot a like. Now that both are really good, the environments are probably the best in the nation.

One of the best environments was in the old Hoosier Dome between UK and IU. Yes is was for basketball but back then there were no corporate fat cats seating or cell phones so every seat was a real fan. A home and home game means more of one team so probably louder when doing well but quieter when not doing well.

Will not happen, but really do wish there were no suites (can't hear behind glass) and folks would worry less about taking pictures and more about dreaming your butt off.
