And Team Gus will be at the top of the list followed by a few others.

I think it will now be easier for say a UCF to make playoff as G5 instead of P5…They will probably stay.

Nobody wants a directional Florida school.

Actually UCF and the rest of the G% may have a problem. There is only going to be 1 slot, at most, for them, and if the P5 conferences have 2-3 teams that can make it, the G5 will be left wanting.

Gotta get past Tulsa and Memphis first

I think it will actually have the reverse effect and cause some schools to consider going independent.
A school like USC could get a sweet TV deal w/a network like CBS, would have an easy time setting up games across the country, and with the Rose Bowl likely no longer being a guarantee for the Pac 12 winner would be fine with a Hawaii/Las Vegas/Holiday bowl rotation for years they didn't make the playoff.

Really? What would UCF bring to the table other than a hand out for a piece of the pie. TAMU and Mizzou both added a lot to the SEC TV footprint. UCF wouldn't add anything to the SEC, and probably nothing for the ACC.
Keeping in mind that it is a business, what AAC teams would be attractive to any P5 conference and why?

I have been saying for years that Bama should go the independent route in football. They would make even more money than they do now. Plus you skip the SEC championship and go straight to the BCS every year. Their brand is gold, straight up gold

Aside from one good year of football 4 years ago, what exactly would a school and athletics program like UCF be bringing to the table for a P-5 conference?
