Their best case scenario is they win their next 10 in a row and make the playoffs.
Worst case they finish 8-4, which is what their prior coach did last season.

The only team that didn't earn IT in 2012 was Alabama. ND and Ohio State were both undefeated. Alabama had a loss. Ohio State's post season ban in 2012 is the only thing that prevented a ND-OSU national championship game.

Well yeah.
He played undefeated 2020 Alabama and undefeated 2018 Clemson.
Freeman faced 1 loss Indiana (lol), 2 loss Penn State, and 2 loss Georgia with their backup quarterback.
BK could win a playoff game in that situation too.
