what about when UNC had players taking fake classes?

what happened to them?

Seems like a lot of people don't really know about that case and like to use it for an example.

UNC never was harshly punished because they offered those "fake" classes to students as well. It is a different situation.

BECAUSE THE NCAA DOES NOT HAVE TO ACT IN A FAIR OR LOGICAL MATTER AND CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT

right so why have an agenda to attack LSU?

Emmert is a former chancellor of ours.

This is just the beginning. Even if Wade is gone the NCAA will still have to investigate the program.Just wait until the NCAA offers the kids immunity to testify against Wade.

We don't need lectures on cheating from a fan of the school that employs John Calipari. Take your self righteous indignation somewhere else.

Don't have to do that in a court of law either, fwiw.

Wade doing nothing different from what a handful of other coaches do won’t change the fact he drug his ballsack all over this shitty conference and will hoist the banner that proves as much this weekend

Most of my fellow UK fans bring this up all the time and it drives me crazy when they do it too. Those classes were offered to all students and many non-athletes availed themselves of the course. Thus, it was not a special benefit. Whether or not it was a legitimate college course does not fall under the purview of the NCAA. That’s an accreditation issue. The NCAA couldn’t do anything about it without losing a pretty clear cut future lawsuit. Obviously the courses were heavily attended by UNC athletes and everyone with two IQ points to rub together can do the math but the NCAA’s hands were tied.

And that is what UNC argued. They didn't take the NCAA head on. They pulled the rug right out from under the NCAA. If LSU thinks they can do that, good luck. I'd actually love to see it

Right and you can argue that its dumb UNC was let off the hook for that but it is still 100% a different situation.

When two teams are tied for first, the next team is 3rd, not second.

And we beat you head to head so.....
