Think about how many rumors are contained/implied in that one sentence.

I have to be honest Scoop. I don't think anything is going to break. I'm starting to think the whole thing is rumors about rumors.

It is far beyond Newton. The Feds have 10 months of wire taps to implicate members of the Auburn BOT of crimes from extortion, money laundering, tax evasion and wire fraud. Newton is nothing at this point.

You're probably right. The FBI is probably just tired and needed a break from their daily grind of putting their case together against McGregor and all of the other criminals in Alabama and just thought they would take on this Cam Newton story so they could go to the NC game on taxpayer money.
The FBI is notorious for just fricking off most of the time and following around college football players.

Psst.
Dude.
I don't think they need the entire FBI to pursue the McGregor case. If they found something incriminating about Auburn athletics, I'm sure they could spare an agent or three to go look into it.

What I have learned from this thread: do NOT frick with the image of your own conference, the SEC. Just don't do it. Your own brothers will tie you to the kitchen chair, brake your fricking ankles with ball pin hammers, kick your face in with hobnail boots, waterboard your goddamn self, and only then will we sell you to the feds like a ten dollar whore. In the immortal words of my namesake . . . . .

Hey Guys, I'm putting together a consolidated synopsis of this thing, together with the people, organizations, timelines etc. My dad is in the hospital (nothing serious) and is dying to read all about this. That's my real motivation, buut as long as I'm doing so I thought all of you would enjoy the read.
While is was gathering some of the information, I stumbled onto this little gem at AuburnFootball.com I hope I'm not breaking any of the rules, because I think It's a free site. Anyway, I think the natives are starting to smell the smoke rising.
here's the link.
Who is this Miltion?

It actually looks like more than ten months of wire tapping to me from indictments. Jan 09 to Aug 2010 but they may have been gaps, and some of those phone convesations cold have been cell phones and sneak n peaks.

glassman, this is some really heavy stuff you're putting out there. I've never seen anything like this suggested yet although a new thread pops up every 5 seconds and I can't keep up.
