Honest question. Have you ever heard of the FBI keeping the public up to date via the media during an on going investigation of this magnitude? Why would they? They owe the fans of AU nothing.

FBI will not give updates. What they will do is stir up something somewhere else that gets the phones they have tapped ringing again. Tracking a cold money trail is a very hard thing to do, it is done much easier when you are able to track in real time.
