I just don’t see how you rank them ahead of LSU. We would be favored home, away or neutral site.

I’m at an 8. I was surprised at how poorly Levitt played early.
If he continues to improve and looks like he did in the second half of A&M he could go to a 9 or 10.
If we make the playoffs I will be at a 10. It will be extremely difficult with the amount of injuries piling up and the lack of depth we have right now.

I’m speaking of the last several years. This year Kiffin pointed out the quarterback was way ahead of where he thought he should have been.
Brian Kelly said the o-line was going to be a strength of the team.
Baseball is also notorious for pumping up the hitting or pitching in different years and then having that aspect of the team be really bad.

Every year, the coaches seem to pick a certain position group and rave about how great they are doing before the season. It’s been the wide receivers, the offensive line, the defense and this year it was the quarterback.
It’s almost like the more they pump up a group the worse they will do. Is this just coach speak or is it really a surprise to them too?

I'm still a little gun shy on our defense against running quarterbacks.

Lane was talking about being on the other side of the sidelines at Tiger Stadium. He was saying how he wanted to know how that felt to be on the home side.
I feel the same way about coaching. I would see him coaching and wonder what it felt like to have a great coach coaching our talent.
It finally all worked out for us.
