Not only that, but we’re all to believe that Newton – who was 20 at the time – never had any clue that his father was so far down the path of trying to sell Cam's services to Mississippi State that Cecil Newton was instructing Rogers to send text messages to boosters outlining the payment schedule?
I’ll let everybody make up their own minds as to what they do and don’t believe.
And we won’t even broach the obvious next question: So Cecil Newton just arbitrarily quit shopping his kid after the first pay-for-play attempt was unsuccessful?
Again, make up your own mind.
But the facts are this: There is no evidence at this point that Auburn did anything wrong, that Cam Newton or anybody received a cent or that Cam Newton knew anything about his father’s shady dealings.
...
It’s been a great season, a memorable season in a lot of ways, and Cam Newton is the most dynamic football player I’ve seen in this conference since Herschel Walker.
But if you don’t reside in that 334 area code, it’s a season that will forever have an asterisk attached to it.

I got a feeling some 205 area code people won't have an asterick next to it. I'm 404, and won't. Chris low is a liar

He was also on the Bo Mattingly show yesterday...
They were talking bowls and he said basically..."Assuming AU handles business this weekend they will be playing in the MONEY game...I guess I shouldn't say that"

Here I click into a thread supposedly selling "interesting" comments and all I find is "repetitive", "trite", and "unoriginal".

This will just be a convenient way for bammers to ignore the championship if Auburn wins it.
Posted on 12/3/10 at 12:22 pm to e2drummer
That's what makes it even better. Bammers Will do ANYTHING to say auburn isn't deserving of this title. When we win it, I'm just gonna sit back, spark up a fatty, and laugh.

Sounds like Auburn's "pay for play" scams.

And there it is.
"Maybe it’s just me, but don’t you agree to receive money the minute you ask somebody for it?"
The legalese turds who call themselves lawyers claim it to be a loophole as in the case of Slime and Bloom.
If Slime wanted to he could enforce the spirit of the bylaws which would kill the loophole instantly but instead he created a bigger one you could drive a truck through.
By not enforcing the spirit of the rules he is complicit with pimping out players as long as the pimps don't get caught accepting money.
That shite wouldn't fly in a court of law dealing with solicitation for prostitution and of course you'll have those people who tell you this isn't a court of law and that may be the case but the way Slime is interpreting this ruling has everything to do with contract law.
So Slime just wants his cake and eat it too which he hopes will be a big payday.

770 is the worst area code in the nation. Enjoy your suburban sprawl and choice between Applebee's and Friday's for dinner.

Now THAT was original!

OK, I lied... that was one of the most unoriginal piece-of-shite responses in the history of message boards. So at least you've got that going for you.
