Norvell would be a better hire than anyone else they’re mentioning. That dude turned around an ACC dumpster fire and went 13-0.

He lost 63-3

I would try to money whip Urban Meyer first before even contemplating a list of employed coaches. He's a proven winner at every stop in college and still young enough..

No way they will get Kirby, he's entrenched at Georgia and successful now. No reason to leave...

They may have a little more success at getting Sark to listen to an offer, but I think Sark has put too much work in at Texas already, and will see he can be successful there and Texas can match any offer BAMA has and then some. Also Texas has BAMA beat with NIL possibilities..

I'm taking a shot at Urban before any of Dabo, Lanning, Day, Norvell or whoever else might be near the top of the list.

Norvell would be home run hire

Ryans,Lanning would be a great hire for SEC fans. Brings bama closer to pack, than ever before.

Urban Meyer has too much baggage and has made an arse of himself too many times for Alabama to consider him. I would also bet he has no interest in riding Saban's "coat tails".

Kiffin has the ego to be Bama’s coach. The other’s crack under the pressure.

If you don’t hire Kiffin, you’re idiots. He would absolutely rule college football with his mastery of modern recruiting coupled with the Bama brand.

Dabo

The man will not embrace NIL and the portal. Not saying he needs to like them, but he is unwilling to make the necessary adaptations and you can already see it’s hurting Clemson. I’m not interested in him coming to Alabama.

He is coaching at Jacksonville State in the CUSA so I hope she has changed her mind.

Right. Some people don't know Sark has a black wife. It's likely she prefers Austin to Tuscaloosa.

I can see Kiffin. Who ever takes over is going to have a lot pressure to win and the legacy of Nick Saban to live up to. Also, if a head coach from a Power 5 becomes Bama head coach then not only do you have Bama players in the transfer portal but that other Power 5 school players in the portal too. I think if Florida State coach became Bama's coach then I see Deion Sanders becoming Florida State head coach. It definitely going to be an interesting off season.
I never would have dreamed that Saban's last loss would be against the Cheaters and Harbaugh!

No one is talking about Irving Meyers. He could get them another natty before he burns the program down.
