Auburn v Georgia
Auburn v Alabama
Alabama v Tennessee
Florida v Georgia

Id take the fricking egg bowl over AtM and Arkansas.

LSU fan here, I agree with 3 of the 4 as the best SEC rivalries. Bama-TENN is only a rivalry for Bama and TENN fans. The rest of the league could care less. TENN will never what they once were now that Clemson is a national power in South Carolina on their east and recruits North Carolina better than TENN does these days, and out recruits TENN in other bordering states to TENN (Virginia, GA and even Alabama). UGA was down in the 90's when TENN was dominate. TENN use to come to Louisiana back in the 90's and get top recruits. The only team that can do that today is Bama, and that is not because of Alabama, it is because of Saban who made his name here.

Who in the hell ever thought Arkansas, Oklahoma, and SE Texas counted as the Southwest?

Well, back when Georgia Tech was in the SEC, so you appear misinformed.

I like the TSIO personally especially when they both wear orange and crimson. Usually falls the first week of really good football weather too.

I hate to say it, but we miss on this one.

I know, I know, but the truth is A&M and Arkansas were united in detesting Texas far more then being rivals with each other even during the salad days of the SWC.

Y'all have won 7 in a row and we still don't dislike you nearly as much we do the Whorns.

Now, for the record, it is a good rivalry. It tends to run in strings of wins, Arkansas rattled off 9 in a row at one point. It just doesn't have the hatred we both have for Texas to really push it over the top.

Yep...you nailed it. Not only the SED...That is the greatest rivalry in the history of any sport...ever.

The only thing that could rival it would be when former SEC teams Georgia Tech and Tulane face each other.

Sad that that's who your rival is.

1. Auburn/Bama
2. Auburn/Uga
3. Bama/UT (it's dropped off recently)
4. Every other long term match ups.

Lsu/Bama isn't a real rivalry. Just a good match up for a few years awhile back.

Fair enough, are you a TENN or Bama fan? I don't think I have watched that game since 2009 when Kiffin was there that year. Much better games on ABC or ESPN to watch while I am waiting for whoever LSU is to play later that night since CBS has put that game on at 2:30 for the most part.

The last time the Bama-TENN game was really relevant was when Fulmer and Stallings were the respective coaches. The Florida-UGA game has been much more important for SEC and national rankings since 2000 till today.

LSU is not a rival for Alabama in any sense of the word.

I do have lots of family for both though. And we are usually camping up in the smokies this weekend and listen on the radio and always enjoyed that.

Of, I missed the AU, your an Auburn fan foolish me. Hey, family traditions, cooking, camping and SEC football are great. So I can see why the game has more importance to you and it is more important in your part of SEC country than it is for me down in South Louisiana.

We folks in South and Southeast LA think of ourselves as the outcasts of the SEC footprint anyway, oh well.

I think that would suit everyone here just fine if the SWC was put back together. Leave anytime you wish.
