I remember as a kid going to a game, maybe Tennessee, and he went nuts. His Dad was shot down over Vietnam in a B-52 and they flew an B-52 over Legion Field real low and it was LOUD.

Best I have ever seen in person! He was one of my favorite players. Could totally take over a game by himself.

You laugh, but you know it's true. You've already had "physical freaks" like Clowney come in and he couldn't even sniff twenty.

Pollack and Suggs have gotten the closest if I'm not mistaken. But it really won't. Especially not by an Auburn thug.

He left seven children by five women and no will.

FINALLY.

Finally, finally, finally.

First the Rock and Roll HOF got around to inducting Rush, and now this. The world is starting to make sense again.

It was long overdue, but pump the brakes on the whole "Greatest player in SEC Football History". Great player, but I would take Bo or Herschel over him any day.

Not the greatest, but DT was certainly a beast

So you're a fan of good rushing stats over transcendent defensive stats?

Still holds the Div-1 record for sacks in a season and career (Tied with Teddy Bruski)

While I don't think you can dub any one player as the GOAT in any league, especially the SEC, Derrick Thomas would be as deserving as any.

Mark Ingram had a higher YPC average and only 7 less TD's with 400 less carries than Walker.

And we all know what the board thinks about Mark Ingram.

Certainly the greatest Bama player of all time at the least and certainly on the Mount Rushmore of the SEC with Hershel and Bo (who fourth? Billy Cannon? Archie Manning? Tebow?)
