He wants desperately to win an SEC Championship before he leaves Georgia. So desperate in fact that he skipped out on spring break to go to Oklahoma to practice his mechanics.

quote:

For the final spring break of his college life, Aaron Murray toyed with the idea of joining friends on a trip to Cancun or Key West. Instead, the 22-year-old Murray passed on a week hanging at the beach to spend his vacation time this past week in Norman, Okla., working morning and afternoon sessions with private QB coach George Whitfield, who had come to the Sooner State to help prep former OU quarterback Landry Jones for his pro day.

Sad that that hit is a penalty now.

I just love the face he makes the moment he realizes he's about to get jacked up.

I love how the posters on this board call a guy a bitch for taking a hit. A hit that not one of them would have gotten up from had they ever had the talent or the dedication to play top level or any level CFB. You can say all sorts of thing about Murray, but he has never acted half as bitchy as the majority of posters on this board.

Just a douche bag being a douche. Got to love how Murray strives to be better and people who have competed in athletes admire that. People who haven't can't understand it. The OP might want try to improve his "game" some time. Who knows, he might get promoted to head burger flipper.

It all depends upon your point of view. As a rival fan, I'm required to be a bastard and a douche and claim that what Aaron Murray was doing out in Oklahoma was nothing short of desperation. For all the passing records he is poised to break this upcoming season, one thing is absolutely clear: he has only beaten two teams that have finished ranked in the AP Top 25 (#25 Nebraska/#9 Florida) in his three years as a starter. You're gonna have to do better than that if you want to win championships.

But why am I telling you this? You're a Georgia fan. "Wait until next year" has become the motto of the Georgia football program under Mark Richt.

Probably the stupidest thing I have ever read on here, you could just you know, not be an a-hole and give him credit for working his arse off instead of partying over spring break like 95% of all the other QBs will.

So hard work and improving yourself and your draft stock is desperation?

Aaron Murray is probably my favorite non-Arkansas SEC player ever. Great guy. Unless Arkansas shocks the world next year, I'm pulling for Georgia and Murray. That offense will be firing on all cylinders.
