i think richt did a good job last year they improved a lot post south carolina and they played way better against bama then i thought. Georgia fell short because of garner and grantham, the two of them couldn't get that super talented d-line to live up to potential. When 350 lineman are getting blown 5 yds off the ball theres a coaching problem

There's no excuse for Grantham allowing our defense to give up that many rush yards, I agree.

The lack of depth on the defensive line played a big part in that game though. When you literally only have 4 healthy players up front facing the best offensive line in the country, you're going to get worn down eventually.

Richt holds on to bad coaches too long. Miles did it with OC Gary Croton.

Sad that that hit is a penalty now.

LSU, who could have guessed that?

If it was one time thing I'd have to agree with ya but we finished 78TH in rushing defense this year. Gave up big rush yards to GT,GA SO,UK and even Buffalo...absolutely no excuse in the world to give up big yards to those teams with 9 guys on the defense going to the NFL.

CTG was the issue even though our depth problems were a little exposed vs Bama.

As a rival fan, I'm required to be a bastard and a douche and claim that what Aaron Murray was doing out in Oklahoma was nothing short of desperation.

Well, I didn't read past this post, but you suck.

I've always liked Murray, I hope he has a good season.

Hi, Aaron... welcome to Oklahoma. So glad you came out here to work with us. Shows me that you really do strive to improve and that you aspire for the next level. I know you've set a lot of records, but I don't want to leave any stone unturned. So as a matter of diligence, we'll go over the basics and work our way up to first round status. You ready? Alright!

No, spiking the football is lesson #2, lesson #1 is scoring 76 unanswered points (and counting) vs. Auburn.

Can't spell "back-up school" without AU

Can't spell "10 game SEC losing streak" without Tigers

Can't spell "Dead pathetic last in Football and Basketball" without Plainsmen

Can't spell 4-8 vs. Mark Richt without...

Well, you get the point.

Grantham has been here 3 seasons and his defenses have been an upgrade over Martinez to say the least. Firing him would have looked ridiculous and reactionary, kind of like LSU and their OC's...

Ha, it's all in fun, man.

If you come to the SEC rant and don't expect to catch hell from rival fans I'd argue you are probably not a blast to be around.

Chin up, I think Auburn will win 2 or 3 SEC games this year.
