Why is one better than the other? This is what the SEC Network uses, so I went with it.
Mizzou continually showing why they don't belong in the SEC.

LSU being behind Missouri in recruiting is contributing to their meltdown.

Yea. I am predicting Florida has some dark days (years) ahead of themselves.
You live in Missouri, everyday spent in Missouri is a dark day.

OU (8) and Texass (5) are both in the Top 10, they will be in the SEC footprint as these players develop. Of course Texass has regularly done the least with the most... so who knows.

I am assuming you're a Florida graduate. Reading must be difficult.

I did not know that Missouri had recruited that well this year. I assume they recruited some talent on the D side of the ball with this ranking.

They were in the top 20 last year, so this isn't surprising.
Now, Drinkwitz has to prove that he can coach.

How long did it take you to find the ONLY site that had mizzou ranked higher than LSU?

for one thing if you use 24/7 composite it includes 24/7, espn and rivals. SECN uses espn because espn OWNS SECN.

Not really, we just had a massive coaching staff change.
LSU finished 22nd overall in 2005. (The first year of Miles.)
Programs like Arizona, Virginia, Maryland, Iowa and Cal finished ahead of LSU.
LSU won a National Championship 2 years later.
It's expected when a coaching change happens. But all you idiot trolls ignore that.

Not really. He needs more time to get the roster up a notch to get talents at all position, getting good backups, and depth. Most first year players probably will be redshirted. Drinkwitz need to get more experience as a HC and the same for the players. More likely in 2023 is the target year to get the team to show much improvement from the following year.

Still Vanderbilt isn't the easiest place to sell when it comes to football. That's a class that would make them a contender or at least upper middle of the pack in a lot of conferences but in the SEC it isn't much to brag about. It's kinda insane the talent the conference has across the board.
Vandy is easier to sell than you think. Nashville is a fun town, and for the decent football recruit who knows NFL dreams are less likely for him, that degree will actually mean something when they are start looking for a job.
