CBS would never is all I'm going to say.
Newcomer Texas and Aggy were given better time slots than the supposed "King" of the SEC.

Nobody wants a 30 point beatdown in primetime.

In fairness, the Big Noon kickoff is embraced everywhere but the SEC. ESPN is trying to change that narrative. Back, once upon a time, the SEC only associated noon kickoffs with Jefferson Pilot games. Always "lesser" games in the pecking order. Now they want to celebrate marquee matchups like the B1G/B12 have done for years on Fox.
Besides, ESPN is overloaded with great games, look at their schedule next week. They want as many eyeballs on these better games as possible. The SEC fans will learn in time and make the TV adjustment. It's not a slight. ESPN has struck marquee matchup gold in this new SEC.

Noon games really only stink when it's an actual home game.

ESPN is trying to spread all the good games out over the whole day. They don’t want to compete with themselves on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, SEC Network.
It’s what’s bad about throwing everything tone basket.

We’re the SEC, the land of the South, the remnants of old timey ways. We’re conservative for a reason, and no, we do not want to learn about how other lesser conferences do things. If the Midwest wants to kick off at noon for their big games, then that’s great by them. But for me, Earl, and Jim? JP was the ruckus for the teams that needed help getting seen at 11am. 2:30 is when the marquee game is. Night time is when the rest of the SEC plays.
I guess if any of the Deep South is up for giving up our traditions, it’s Georgia. But for me and my kin, we’d rather avoid the ways of the suits up North.

The B12 and their networks fricked OU last year by scheduling 6 of 9 conf games at 11am. Along with the reffing that was their parting shot.

A noon kickoff in the sun is perfect in October/November in the Midwest where it will be freezing at 8 pm. In the South, no one wants to bake mid day. Domed stadium like in ATL probably made this more possible.

Is it Disrespect Season already?

CBS never had any SEC games on the first week of the season is all I'm going to say.

I like it. It gets the day started out right.

It’s a byproduct of the newcomers. They used to call the B12 the B 12 o’clock conference.

At least it's indoors.

Bama,'s game at Wisconsin is at 11am. It's not an indicator of a game nobody watches anymore. I don't like it when it's my team but when it's not, it just makes for a long day of great football to watch.

Clemson, Notre dame and the domed stadium made it happen
