Yeah, Saban is a real family man. Look how he lied about staying as the coach at LSU.

Sorry, our family was busy preparing and playing in a national championship game that ended 3 days before the deadline. Our coaches were busy celebrating and recruiting more members to the family to organize some lame arse press conference. Maybe if we had been relegated to playing a second rate Big 10 Team we would have had more time to put on a dog and pony show.

Bama fan preaching about family...... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

BJ Scott thought he was family... guess not. Guess 8 others will be told soon they aren't part of the "family" anymore

Who cares if Saban was at a stupid press conference. Chizik doesn't micro-manage his football team either. The Auburn players going pro wasn't about Chizik it was the players moment. Cam announced in the Auburn locker room and maybe Fairley announced at his high school because he wanted to inspire kids there...Saban on the other hand has to get face time to fulfill his ego.

It has always been the Alabama Nation and the Auburn Family... The coaches took their families on the team plane and also made sure they were on the field after the game... they come by the athletic offices often... Bama fans will never understand the Auburn Family and how special it really is... It is the reason that Chiz came back and why our coaches are staying... WDE.

so telling recruits that the coaches bring their families on the field and on the team plane is a selling point? I just dont see how it is relevant to anything.

Thanks

Dude get a hobby...and while you are out, go to Wal Mart and snap a photo of Auburn's MNC trophy.

Congrats to Auburn from this LSU Tiger!

you're catching an unreasonable amount of hate for this thread... it IS the off-season and I've always smirked at the "family" concept of auburn. it would have been better if you left how Alabama is more of a family team and posed it in a question format about why the announced differently...

but anyway, I think the "all in / family" thing is silly too.

Oh, there's no doubt that bammer is "family" too.

Hell, I remember like it was yesterday the day Trent Richardson (still in high school) signed with bammer and he thanked them for "everything they have done for him and his family".

Who could forget that?
