there's not a single thing in your post about money. Are you under the impression that NIL money is only used on transfers and not to get HSs to commit/stay?

I don't think UGA wins a game in Omaha this year. Ballpark too big for them.

Excellent question. I have no answer as to what Bianco is thinking. Except our number 2 is a close number 2.

Look at how many homers we've hit away from Foley. People act like we've hit a frickton at home and like 2 on the road which simply isn't the case.
And since you obviously aren't aware, here is a comparison with Omaha's dimensions compared to Foley:
LF:
Foley- 350
Omaha- 335
LC:
Foley- 370
Omaha- 375
CF:
Foley- 404
Omaha- 408
RC:
Foley- 365
Omaha- 375
RF:
Foley- 314
Omaha- 335
Obviously our RF is pretty shallow which we all already know. Pretty much everywhere else in the ballpark is equal, or in the case of LF actaully quite a bit farther in Foley than in Omaha.
If we go 0-2 this week it will be because our pitching has shite the bed, not because of our lack of homeruns.

This is how I know you are new to baseball.
This park is notorious for having wind blow straight in from center. The better DEFENSIVE team will win the CWS. Very rarely do you see scores like in 2023 LSU vs UF series.
Almost always low scoring.
UGA might be great on defense idk I don't follow them but I know for a fact that they rely on the long ball more than anyone else.
That doesn't work in Omaha.

Lol. You literally said the ballpark is too big, which I refuted with facts, and now you've shifted to comments about how long I've watched the sport. It's ok to admit you were wrong.

Not a bit of which has anything to do with the size being "too big" for us. And btw early reports are that the wind will be blowing out tmrw.

True we definitely hit a lot. And it's helped us all year. I'm not even claiming we're going to hit several per game. I'm just saying field dimensions don't have a thing to do with it. I'm far more worried about the elite pitcher we're facing than I am the dimensions.

That's clear. Many of our home runs even to our shorter RF have been no doubters that'd be good anywhere. People act like Omaha is 500 feet all around.

You don't think wind blowing in plus increased size of the field will be an issue for a long ball team?
I guess we will see who is correct.

based on the call in our game against USC in the SECT a couple years ago, that should have been a catcher's balk because he crossed the plane of home plate before the ball reached home plate. Didn't end up mattering because Guzman was safe, but the batter should have also been awarded first base

Something many may not be aware of, we have brothers on 2 SEC teams:
Sooners' Kyle Branch is a sophomore second baseman,
Bulldogs' Kolby Branch is a senior shortstop.
At the CWS in Omaha, the family can finally watch all their games in one place.
