Everyone write this down!!!! We have an LSU fan minimizing the effect of who a team has to play to win a championship. Let us all bookmark this momentus occasion and refer to it in every schedule thread made by bayou bengal fans forevermore!

Thank you kind sir! You have given the rant a great gift today.

Sounds like you're just prepping an excuse for losing the ship.

This happens all the time. Most notably 2023 with LSU/Wake/Tenn/Stanford on 1 side and Florida/Oral Roberts/TCU/Virginia on the other. Great teams don't make excuses.

If Oklahoma beats you tonight, maybe they had the easier path?

Not a single team on the left side of the bracket will have faced nearly the level of competition as any team coming out of the right side will have, regardless of who that team happens to be. Not sure how you don't seem to get that and try to turn it into some sort of gotcha about UGA.

North Carolina leads 2-1 over the Mountaineers. Headed to the top of the 3rd.

Is this some kind of SECR inside joke? Honestly not following what you're getting at. I'll just assume it's a troll attempt.

What I do know is Georgia fans are acting scared in this thread.

What I also know is LSU seems to perform in Omaha / National Championships / high pressure situations more often than not.

Yes typical bad humor from me. LSU fans like to start a lot of schedule threads about how hard their scheule is or how easy everyone else has it.

Just a bit of off season humor.

Maybe this is the year Carolina finally wins their Baseball Natty. I'll be pulling for Scott Forbes for sure. Headed to the 4th Tarheels leading 5-1.

UGA, Texas, and OU should sue the NCAA for letting UNC waltz into the championship while they have to duke it out for 12 drag out rounds.

It’s kind of insane that UGA has played 66 games this year and 38 of those have been vs SEC competition because of the way they set up these brackets. Ridiculously fricking stupid that they don’t reseed the field before Supers

8-1 Heels now. Georgia or Oklahoma will have their hands full this weekend.

Diesel will tell you that UGA or OU just need to man up and pull up their bootstraps though. Regardless of the fact unc gets to sleepwalk through the jv bracket and rest for 2.5 days before the championship series.

The CWS is like any other bracket play postseason. No fault of Carolina's. You can only beat the team who is matched up with you.

OU's only chance to win the title is to win tonight...they don't have the pitching depth. UNC has to be the prohibitive favorites.

I'm not blaming carolina, I'm jealous of their path. I'm blaming the decision makers for not doing the common sense logical thing and reseeding once you get to omaha.

This isn't like the pros where every team left at this point is pretty evenly matched.

Looks like they have a great shot. I think they're playing their best baseball and looked the best heading into the semifinals.

stop whining and complaining. LSU couldn't even pitch Paul Skeens for the national championship game.

Pretty much my sentiments since last night. GA had pitchers give them 2 full games and have enough to use many. I felt Tx had used up lots of pitchers and if they advanced thought we had a chance to expose that.

GA is -1.5

If they had the candyland path that UNC has, they probably would've .

Idk why LSU fans in particular are taking this so personally. It's a common sense issue, not a UGA specific issue. There is a massive competitive imbalance between the two sides and you'd have to be a complete retard to argue otherwise. Considering these teams have made it this far and are the last ones standing you would think it stands to reason that you'd want them all to be on somewhat equal footing as far as chances to advance. With this year's bracket clearly that is not the case.

Switch UGA and UNC prior to Omaha and we are in the same position they are coasting and cruising to an easy championship appearance while UNC may already be eliminated for all we know. Hell even bama on the left side would've had the chance to make a little noise.

UNC is going to be sipping mimosas and getting spa treatment for the next couple days while OU and UGA are going Rocky vs Drago
