This probably happens even if Texas was coming off a good decade. This is all about money and ESPN has likely been pulling a few strings

Baylor taking shots at the cowards for tucking tail and abandoning the Big 12.
Props.

It's capitalism, bitch.
We are the biggest brand in college athletics. That affords us privileges that other teams don't have. Texas finally decided that they were no longer going to carry the poors of the Big 12. Which is our right to decide. SEC is/has been fawning of the idea of getting us and if the Big 12 folds because of it, so be it. Doesn't have to be more complicated than that.

Moving to a tougher conference to try and win more games . . .
Bold strategy, Cotton.

No championships.
No high profile draft picks.
Nothing.
All hat, no cattle.
Congrats.

Do aggies ever post about their own program or is it all day, every day about Texas?

I've heard 80 million different things on how the first 4 teams left. I'm not even gonna go there.
However, I can't blame them for getting out of that dead weight conference. The ingrate 8 can fend for themselves.
TV revenue is supposedly to drop 37 down to 9.

Texas, LSU, then how much they adore Bama in that order.

Shall we do a tally of topics posted by little brother horn so far? I think you would find that enlightening

We just fired a coach that was undefeated against KSU.

And also undefeated against vodka

This is some serious delusion that really sums up your fanbase. I lived in Austin for two years, and thankfully most of you don't say this shite out loud.
I live in California now where people generally don't give a shite about college football in comparison to pro sports.
But they still know who Bama is because Alabama is a real national brand. Texas football is a national disgrace. Figure out the difference, if you're able.

These are some delusional MFs. If y’all were as rich as you claimed you wouldn’t have come crawling to the sec with hat in hand and riding Oklahoma’s coat tails.
