Georgia Tech has a lot of potential and could be the flagship with the right coach and leaders. Miami would open firm recruiting grounds, it has such poor fan support. This whole thing will have to be carefully studied for the best results.
You’re going to keep gobbling up teams until there’s not enough money to share to fly them all over the damn country….haha.
Keep doing it and bragging about it, it’s going to be fun to watch the bottom fall out.

That won’t happen because there will lawsuits out the arse due to Title IX and the basketball/baseball players will throw a fit

The only way this works is if football players are explicitly not students. If they are still students, title ix will apply.
NIL is a private transaction, therefore completely separate from title ix

I agree. While it would be interesting to see more fb contests, we need to broaden other sports.

I personally believe that all this travelling (especially for mid-week events) is going to take a toll on all the expansion.
Not to mention the education/being out of class for the athletes.

We will. National brands will always trump regional ones.
Out of all the new schools you have coming in, only Oregon is a national brand. Nobody really gives a shite nationally about Washington, USC, or UCLA. USC and UCLA can't even fill their stadiums for home games. You act like you scored with some hot girls. What you scored with is a bunch of old ladies that used to be hot.

Now you have 4 of the biggest west coast brands coming over. Are you actually stupid ?
Aren't these the same west coast schools that couldn't do better than Apple TV for a new media contract?

They'll be fine in football. They have to do something about the other sports, however. Nothing like Washington's volleyball team having a weeknight match in Maryland.
Exactly my thoughts

Then the women will file a suit and win through Title IX. They will cite discrimination of employment

Not sure which one of you is dumber. UCLA has more NCs than anyone. They have already passed the century mark in championships. You might say THE brand.

University of Houston doesn’t have a big fan following. It’s pretty much a commuter school. A&M has a big stronghold on the city of Houston since College Station is an hour away. Lots of Aggie alumni in Houston and its suburbs. Quite a few LSU alums in the area as well.

Regional Football is important and actually means something.
I don’t think people are paying attention to how Eastern Standard vs Pacific Time is going to work. Going to have all west coast games in the morning and East coast games in the evening?

I doubt it will play out like that, but I do wonder how say Ohio State or Michigan on the road to USC will. I believe those games will be early, but I'm not sure.

They get 6 or so teams out of the ACC and they may wind up being the super conference by themselves. Will certainly be if they manage to tie ND to the conference somehow. May be a future where they only compete against each other and have their own playoff and natty while the rest of the country tries to maintain the status quo. Nothing that happens in CFB would be surprising

I hope the SEC breaks away with us.
