Georgia looks like a rest area on I95.
Kentucky for the win.

The second floor gallery on the Texas and Florida give them both an edge.
Like the Mississippi one as well.

If I had to live in one, it would be Tennessee’s. It’s in a residential neighborhood and is not as easy to find.

Well, it certainly as hell ain't Texas, that's for sure. I've seen mother-in-law suites bigger than what Texas has.

What is the sq footage?
I do know Texas' Governor Mansion is a US National Historical Landmark.
Interested in how many other governor's mansions are as well.

Don't forget that it has a huge bunker as well thanks to Bredesen.
Texas's disappointing as hell.

Everyone else had to replace theirs.
Texas is one of the oldest in the country.
Believe it is 3rd or 4th oldest governor's mansions.
Some states have had three or four since Texas built theirs.

Your picture doesn’t really do our Governor’s Mansion justice but that’s ok.
I like this one better.
I do believe it is the oldest of all the GMs in The South, built in 1842 and it survived the burning of Columbia because it was up on the hill away from the city in those days.
It’s pretty impressive inside and some say it is second only to The White House in terms of national and international historic treasures housed inside.
It’s a lot bigger than it looks from that view ....

You’re right .... I forgot about Virginia’s although no one considers them Southern anymore to be honest.

I would have a hard time picking one- probably Kentucky

Our Gov mansion is a little underwhelming imo, but our Capitol building is pretty spectacular

I can't wait for tomorrow's topic.... Welcome station's of the SEC. Georgia's will look just like the governors mansion.

Looks like a great place to hold Midnight Yell

When you walk in the front door it says it was built in 1842 originally as the Columbia Arsenal.
That’s why the neighborhood is referred to as Arsenal Hill. It was actually built to train military cadets before it was officially turned into the Governor’s Mansion if I remember correctly.

Mizzou needs a complete make-over. I have been all for you in the SEC, but that makes me reconsider!!!
