What good is an in stadium game clock if that's not what the league is actually using?

Peiro said when replay became a thing, they decide the on field clock that the players, coaches, refs, and fans saw should be the only clock used in review.

the clock on the field is THE official game clock.
the clock on the replay screen for the officials was accurate though. the officials created a phantom time to stop the clock based on a defensive player touching the ball.
the problem with that is, he didnt touch the ball when the officials claimed he did.

The still photo didn't show the ball and no one can say when he touched it.... No clear and obvious on the reverse angle.

Apparently the B1G and Michigan will take the hit to their reputation rather than consider doing the right thing and vacating the win.
