Of course, no time table for construction and/or completion was mentioned in the article. Could that mean it’s still very preliminary, don’t know. Like when we lived in Louisiana and saw road construction and would say ‘our grandchildren MIGHT be the first to drive on that new road’

Hoover has been updating the area in and around the ballpark for at least the past 10 years. They've spent tens of millions arleady updating the stadium, the field, practice fields around the stadium, fan areas, parking and, now, the traffic situation around the stadium is being addressed. The updates are why Hoover held off Nashville's bid in 2021. You never know what type of money might be thrown at the SEC, but it is just a baseball tournament. Hoover is the favorite to continue as host.

Outside of three home subdivisions……there is nothing near the stadium. I went three times in the last three days….no traffic issues. One way in and the same way out. The Galaria is looking like a dying mall. Shooting gallery. Owners not working to keep it open. Someone needs to take it over. Add a skating rink. Top Golf. Something to keep the public active.

There is already a Top Golf in Birmingham, about 12 miles from the Hoover Met.

Is anyone else watching the ACC final? Attendance looks horrible, there are way more empty seats than full seats.
