The Andrew Luck (Stanford) Strategy

Check out this snippet talking about Stanford.
So I read up Andrew Luck fired the coach for bullying females. Then this clip basically says the new coach will have 3 bosses, and the $20M payroll will be broken down the same across all sports. A women’s row team member will make the same as a football player according to them.
Isn’t this football suicide or does Stanford care more about Director’s Cup??

That won't happen.

I've been on several float trips with a woman in the canoe with me. They don't row for shite. Definitely not worth the NIL.

if title IX is going to be followed, that would be the way it has to happen, just like scholarship $$.
It seems it is unsure how they will finally apply title IX to this.

Well, rebranding the $20M as financial aid is disingenuous imo so Title IX can apply. It’s back pay for sports.

I'm not sure that these guys know what they are exactly talking about. And to be clear, I don't either, but I'll provide my thoughts:
1) I don't think the new coach is necessarily going to be working for Andrew Luck. The AD that is currently their announced he is stepping down at the end of the school year. They needed someone to make the decision and start the process of hiring a new coach. I can't imagine them letting the AD who is leaving in a few months make those decisions. Once they hire a new AD, I believe the coach will be reporting to him, not Andrew Luck. Also, that coach needed to be fired with all of the allegations of him mistreating staff members.
2) I could be wrong, but I can't imagine the woman's rowing team making as much as the football team through the rev share.

At least they wouldn't be thrown out of the Auburn dug out.

18 meaningless titles are better than one football title?
Texas may have competition in swimming on the horizon.
Watch out for Stanford meat judging.

If Stanford pays every sport equal, they are basically giving up on Football, and can focus on the Director’s Cup, recruiting future Olympians. Im pretty sure they send the most to the Olympics.
With that said, the irony that the money came from football.

Just have half of the football team put on a skirt for a day.

Just have the team pronouns become she/her.

Taking a canoe on a float trip is a rookie move.

When the DoE dies, who will be there to enforce the nonsense?
All for the better. Kill it with fire.
