The AJC loves the Braves, Falcons, Hawks, GSU, and GT. Nothing but puff pieces. But when it comes to UGA, the AJC puts out nothing but hit pieces.

Yes, she has made comments along those lines about Watkinsville.
Now imagine if Kemp had said something like that about a GA city with a majority black population. Fat Alberta is definitely a bitch, otherwise she wouldn't want to disarm hundreds of thousands of legal law abiding gun owners.

others have already mentioend that 1) The AJC has historically had a hardon for trying to badmouth UGA and 2) this guy seemingly has taken recent events personal so now he's taking it up a notch.
But...more importantly is the clicks and money. THe AJC is a dying dinosaur that is barely something resembling relevant these days, and their days as a major player are dwindling. And at the same time this is happening, UGA just so happens to be in the best position it's ever been in since the football team was created over 100 years ago. If they published multipel artilce abotu how great we are, how we're the best proram in america right now, oh look atnoher 5* just committed, oh look we're favorites to win it all again, etc...that's boring. People don't care abotu that stuff. Negativity sells thoguh so by running us through the mud, even if 90% of what's written is conjecture or sometimes completely flat out wrong, it doesn't matter. That's how they have to generate ad revenue and clicks. It's all they have left.
This is the equivalent of a couple breaking up with one side moving on to marry a perfect 10 whose life coulnd't be more perfect while the loser left behind posts on social media about how their breath smells or they shat their pants one time 8 years ago. It's just sour grapes and is honestly more sad than anythign else.
