Honestly that's what I thought it was pretty much most of the rant knows as well, I always chuckle when I see these types of threads because the same folks always post in them.
Go look at TexasAg's threads the same 5 or 6 folks always on 1st page if he mentioned Bama.

Well actually new members need a unamious vote by reps of all schools which means everybody voted yes. I think adding the Houston area in the tv footprint was how it was sold to everybody. That beind said, it took guts for aTm to stand up for themselves against Texas and perhaps having Nick Saban's boss on their side, gave them the confidence to go for it.
