This whole thing sucks, but honestly, not so sure I'd like to see WVU in the ACC at this point. Up until recently? Sure, because WVU makes sense in the ACC with old rivals and a fanbase that actually gives a shite about football and basketball and will travel and spend $$. Given that the schools you listed may very well be gone by 2036, maybe the Big 12 + PAC whatever is a more stable option for now. Who knows, it sucks either way

The ACC should stay the way it is, in my view.

there will likely be an anti-trust action taken at some point if SEC and Big 10 have a monopoly on playoff spots.

WVU... yes.
UCONN... maybe for basketball.
UCF... maybe if the SEC raids them for schools.
USF... maybe if the same scenario with UCF occurs.

Honestly, I think if they lost Florida State, taking UCF and USF (and rebranding them as the Universities of Orlando and Tampa Bay... respectively) would mitigate any issues.

Content is going to matter. Taking a slightly smaller, but more rapid and lucrative piece of the pie is a long term smart play. The ACC has Pitt. Adding WVU is a smart move.

No too many teams for only 2 conferences....

ACC is not capable of making any moves in or out with their GOR running to 2036

They just need to renegotiate their TV deal for more money.....
