I'm well aware of this. Are you trying to say 1 and 2 loss teams shouldn't be on this list?

7. 2011 LSU

Game might end 3-0 with 95 cumulative passing yards

No kidding, especially if Sark was O coordinator for Bama. How many 3 and outs would this game include? An ungodly amount

2012 Gamecocks should be on this list

Lattimore and Clowney were nasty, but I don't think they can be on the list after losing to #9 Florida by 33 points (and #14 LSU the week before).

I disagree. We played those games consecutively on the road, and got blown out by UF after an emotional loss in Baton Rouge the week before. Doesn't change the fact we won 5 straight after those losses, beat the dog piss out of UGA's best team under Richt, and whipped Clemson's arse on a Saturday night in Death Valley.

We get that 2012 is one of Sc's best teams ever but they in no way whatsoever qualify for the list in the OP. You played 4 really good teams that year and went 2-2 against them, including a 30+ point arse blasting by one. You didn't even win the division.

Would love to see the historic record of teams playing back to back road games against two top 15 opponents

oh really because our record against two top 15 opponents on the road is the only reason why people are saying we don't belong on this list...

If they were really one of the 25 best teams not to win a national title, their record in those 2 games would have been better than 0-2

Which begs the question I asked a few posts ago. If no one is doing better then 0-2 in that scenario then is it a valid counterpoint?

There are teams who have not won a national title in the past who would have done better than 0-2 in those 2 games, that was the point

btw, just last season UGA played consecutive games away from home against teams that would end up finishing ranked 8th and 12th. Beat both also.

In the history of college football I'm sure there have been hundreds if not thousands of cases of a team playing consecutive road games against top 15 teams and not going 0-2.
