Speculation but had those 2 teams played LSU crushes them. That team was loaded on both sides.

Both the '07 and '19 trophies say NATIONAL CHAMPION, right?

And to think some national champions weren't good enough to win the conference or even their division.

Yeah, LSU had close road losses at Auburn and Florida. Dogs lost at home to 6-6 Carolina and then got blown out at Tennessee.

There was NO dispute for the '03 BCS championship. Tigers won and have the trophy. I've seen it.

Sort of like Bama...only SEC West team not to win it's own division and still get a mulligan to play for the national championship.

A national championship with losses to Kentucky and Arkansas is worth celebrating. I’m still amazed.

What's amazing is claiming fake national Championships via flux capacitor.

I'm sorry, are you referring to "facts is facts" as bad grammar?

Really?

Like, for real for real?

It must burn you up that for all of Alabama's National Championship teams...2019 LSU is objectively better than all of them, and according to some projections might send 6 players in the first round of the same draft.

It burns you up. Deny it, but no one will believe you.

If LSU wants to claim the 2019 LSU Tigers as the best national champs of all time it is only fair to claim the 2007 LSU Tigers as the worst national champs of all-time - or at LEAST the modern era

just looks like 2 national championships to me

Sounds like a team that couldn't win their division should have been an easy win for whomever they played.

Then a team that lost 2 games should have been an easy win for whoever they played.
