Clearly, you are the one that does not understand how bowl selection works. The number indicates the order in which that bowl gets to select an SEC team, not the standing of the team in the conference.

Ok then Auburn is #1 and Bama is #2. Mizzou at best would be listed at 3 possibly 4 since USC beat them. So either way your argument is bad.
