I know. It's because you're an idiot.

Dude, you should stay away from words you don't understand. I'm not emotional, I didn't really even watch the game because I didn't care about who won. I only tuned in at the end when I saw on line that it was all tied up.

If anyone is getting emotional here, I would say it's you.

But emotions aside, let's let the Eagles defender himself weigh in on it:

"It was a holding. I tugged his jersey. I was hoping they would let it slide"

And there you have it. Holding, half the distance, automatic first down.

yes...it was holding. the call still sucked. You can argue it was right or wrong all day but at the end of the day it fricking sucked. A classic of a super bowl ended in a flag being the most memorable play and what really sucks is that's becoming the norm in the NFL now...it's so over the top rules-centric it's just getting harder and harder to enjoy.

Growing up there was no "rules expert" in the booth and now not only does one exist they consult with them at least half a dozen times a game. What is/is not TECHNICALLY a catch, was that TECHNICALLY hold, is this TECHNICALLY a possession. The league has gone so far in making sure thing's are technically correct i think we've lost a lot of the game in the process...and this is the result.

Was it the right call..technically yes...but it destroyed the moment.

Also believe the catch that took 10 minutes to review should have staued inconclusive.

Its not that it wasnt a mild hold, its that they could call it every down. It did not change the outcome of anball thrown in the stands

This...and they had bee largley letting them play most of the night. But they call it on a play where the Mahommes overthrew it out the back of the endzone and in a spot where it sealed the game.

Do the chiefs probably win without it...sure. but the eagles would have had a shot...a classic game would have ended on the field either with defense or wild offense..instead it ended with a flag and a fg. I really wasn't rooting for either team, I was rooting for a good match up, which I got....then it ended in the weakest way possible. It just sucked for the game

Meh.

The refs took a touchdown away from Kansas City after the guy clearly caught the ball and turned.

Worst call in the history of sports

Shouldn't have been called, but worst ever? There were worse in last weeks Bengals/Chiefs game. There were worse on the last scoring drive of last year's super bowl (missed false start on entire offensive line and bad defensive holding call on Logan Wilson all on the same play). The Saints/Rams call was far worse.

The call last night was ticky tacky and bad timing, but probably wasn't even the worst missed call of the game.

Odd that all these Philly fans or pissed off chumps that lost money on the game whine and bitch about a holding call that even the DB admitted was correct and yet never address the horrible call on that COMPLETED PASS AND FUMBLE. If holding doesn't get called on the Eagles KC still kicks a field goal and goes up 38-35. The BS incomplete ruling on that earlier play directly cost KC a TD.

Want to bitch about the downward spiral of NFL officiating? I'll give you a good place to start. This trend where a receiver has to catch a pass; run at least ten yards with it securely under his arm; stop; take out a cell phone; call a lawyer; sit down on the field with the lawyer; fill out a sworn affidavit confirming that the ball is indeed in his possession; take out his cell phone again; call a notary public to come onto the field and officially stamp the document; and then and only then is it considered a completed pass.

To me, the problem wasn't the call. The problem was the play wasn't called that way all game. Suddenly in crunch time the refs start calling the game close. Total BS screw job imo.
