the Gamecocks win snapped a 22-game non-conference home win streak for Virginia, dating back over 3 seasons.
USC also beat UVA in the Gamecocks' last visit up to Charlottesville in 2002.
South Carolina now owns 2 ACC road wins this season, albeit the other against a lifetime men's basketball bottom-feeder of that conference.

Yeah you’re right, “gifted” national titles by completely dominating a team for the 35 minutes. But I will admit we did need help at the end and boy did Samir Doughty ever help us out. I’m surprised TB didn’t send him a national title ring.
