Espn had article written about Texas’ basketball coach calling UCF classless for doing the horns down. Your administration forced the Big12 to make it a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty. That’s classless.

I really wouldn't expect a Florida fan to know the back story on this. And as much as I hate to defend Texas on what happened... I have to.
That all started because a Texas player got flagged for "putting the pistols away" at Texas Tech. So naturally, Mack Brown said that if "putting the pistols away" was a penalty... why wasn't "horns down" a penalty. Which actually made sense.
After the league made it a penalty to mock another team's hand sign, the idea that this was just a "horn's down" penalty was born simply because Texas was the only school that had a hugely institutionalized hand sign. But actually, the 15 yard penalty could be thrown if a player mocked Texas Tech or Oklahoma State's gun hand sign... or that cat head that KSU fans make these days.

damn right it was...it was embarrassing especially since most of the fans don't give a frick about that stupid horns down. Personally I think he's melting down over the team playing like shite and lashing out. shite was ridiculous.
