Batters eye and CF wall…I bet they can figure something out…it may not be padded and the batters eye may end up being that black cloth material.

It would be cheaper to just put some yellow caution tape around it and put the money saved towards handing out a burnt orange dildo to every Texas fan at the gate. Everyone would be happy then.

Be like Tenn and build a new wall 10-20 ft closer to home plate.

They could use a temporary fence like this one (placed in front of the old fence) so the field can be the same size of Tennessee’s field.

It’s a shame it didn’t rip up that 70’s model Astro turf. What a terrible venue for college baseball

Schloss and CDC playing 4D Chess making it look like the storm took it down, all while they install the latest X-Ray Technology to alert our players of the pitch and location each at bat..

Unfortunately, we won't have this technology in Omaha, if we are lucky enough to make it that far..

PS: Can someone fix the angle of the camera in CF? Thanks in advance.

A 50 mile long hail storm blew through central Texas yesterday.

There were 77 MPH winds at the airport, 2+" of rain in 30 minutes.

quote:

Massive hail
Across the state, 151 weather reports were recorded. The majority, 131, were hail reports.

The largest recorded hailstone from Wednesday night’s storm was 6.25 inches in Johnson City (melon size), located west of Austin. It’s nearly record-breaking, with the largest hailstone on record in Texas being 6.40 inches in Hondo on April 28, 2021. In Texas, it’s rare to see hail over 4 inches in size.

To put it in perspective, the National Weather Service scale for hail size doesn’t go beyond five inches. Everything is bigger in Texas, after all.

Other hail reports from across the state in the past 24 hours include 4.50 inch hail in Itasca and Granbury (grapefruit size), 4.20 inches in Henly (slightly larger than a softball), 3 inches in Katemcy and Cleburne (large apple size) and 2.75 inches in Brady (baseball size).
