Georgia was always expected to be back in this game. They got here through the losses of other teams.

Texas was never expected to be in this game. They got here by winning.

And now the only caveat - Georgia beat Texas in regular season.

No matter, Texas wins this one.

Whorns. Texas seems to have progressed as Georgia seems to have regressed. Carson Beck lost himself few games ago and hasn’t returned since then.

Beck is playing his best ball of the season. UTa doesn’t match up that well vs UGA. 27-17 UGA

Who cares…it’s basically an exhibition game.

Our QB, two of 3 top receivers are banged up and 1st rounder left tackle may not even play. Dawgs by eleventy million.

Texas. Hard to beat a team twice and now Texas won’t be as shell shocked. They’ll eat their wheaties and be prepared. Texas wins

UGA defense had Ewers seeing ghosts last time they played. UGA going to be playing a home game with the crowd.
Home game you say? Guess you missed how we totally took over Vandy's stadium and drove ticket prices for the aggy game into absurd levels..

If you want to research what was said - go research MtVernon posts back in late July. I said Texas would win the SEC this year.

Do you know how preposterous that sounded in July? It wasn't banter, it was my honest belief.

It's December, and we're in the game. I'm not backing down now.

The Texas Longhorns win the SEC in their first year.

Right you were just ranked number one because they thought you stern any good and couldn't make it to the SECCG....

The entire conference looked at your schedule and probably concluded that you would end up in SECCG. The question was whether it would be undefeated in conference play or not.

You lost to Georgia at home. I don't see anything significantly different in either team from October till now that leads me to believe the outcome in Atlanta will be different. That's my honest belief.

Georgia could win by 30 or lose by 30. That's the simple truth about this team.

Are you high? Beck has been straight up elite in the last 3 games. It's the WRs who have let the team down on offense.

Welcome to the SEC, I can tell you’re new here.

One team had been thoroughly tested heading into that game, played in highly competitive games, and dealt with high pressure situations. The other? They had played no one.

Bama and Saban say hi from Tuscaloosa.

But maybe winning by 10 in Tuscaloosa isn’t a “highly competitive game”??

Anyway, I think Georgia better be ready and better bring it.

Motivation factor likely favors Georgia
Texas is a lock to host if they don’t win. Georgia would likely have to go on the road if they lost.

Plus they are a tough matchup for us. Give me Georgia. Maybe Texas wins part 3

Having the SECCG in Atlanta every single fricking year sucks, almost as much as having the SEC ref office in Birmingham.

I'll say UGA wins the first rematch and Texas wins the next

Only in college football could it be conceivably possible to lose 2 out of 3 to the one team in the same season and yet still be crowned national champ over said team.

Actually it could happen in basketball and baseball.
