Texas has Elite defense, the offense has had struggles, however when pushed against ASU they were Elite. Look for great gameplan for the semi final game, this will be 4 quarter game.

Meh. Day is a missed FG away from already having won one. And that is without JSN, Harrison Jr, Henderson, and Stover in the 4th quarter of that game. Props to UGA, but OSU could easily have won that game of course

OSU is going to be competing most years and is always going to have a ton of NFL talent

The more everyone keeps saying “OSU by 40”, the more confident I get about the game.

1. I will hold my nose and pull for Texas out of SEC solidarity and the fact that Ohio State's fanbase is possibly the only one worse than the Longhorns.

2. Ryan Day has to channel his inner Ryan Day-ness.

3. If Ohio State doesn't win the NC then I could see them working behind the scenes to force him out, but I feel like that might turn out to be a Frank-Solich-at-Nebraska mistake.

It will be closer than most think. People look at how tOSU has played in their games and UT played in theirs and act like they are two different spectrums.

Games are about matchups. tOSU got favorable matchups on play style in their two games, which helped them dominate.

UT had what most capped weaker teams, but they weren’t in all honesty. Both good teams, and played UT well.

UTs defensive is top 3 in total defense, top 3 in passing defense, top 3 in scoring defense and top 12 in rushing defense.

tOSU has a great defense too, but played much worse offensive teams. They played a bad offensive UTk team that has struggled all year, Oregon off a long layoff and a PSU that is good not great offensively.

It has helped, but I honestly think it depends on which Ewers shows up that determines the game.

tOSU has also played one less game than UT so we will see the wear and tear.

Texas, but after what Ohio State did to Oregon my hopes are not high.

Those offenses are better than any offense Texas has played all year

Since there are no real SEC teams left in it I don’t really give a frick about watching it anymore.

But unless they get discouraged and give up, the Texas defense will keep Ohio St from running away with it too far.

My biggest concern is inept offense that can’t sustain any drives. If OL keeps putting them in 3rd and longs via sacks and dipshit false start penalties then defense will just get gassed. Which is the sole reason ASU was able to climb back into the game.

What I’ve learned this year is that Sark is not a good play caller nor good at making in-game adjustments. Kirby out coached him twice, and he got outcoached by an up and coming 34 year old coach in the Peach Bowl (our OL outweighed their DL by 60 pounds a man so just inexcusable that we couldn’t run the ball; 100% poor scheme and play calling).

Miss State's offense is better than Penn States, their numbers are just inflated because they play in a conference with 2 real teams.

A vote for tOSU, their horrible fanbase and pedder looking coach is a vote for the devil.

How many Satan worshippers do we have here?

I'd like to see halftime be 56-0 for the OSU, and then the hole can open and swallow it all

Manning will get a significant number of snaps - the kitchen and sink package to beat OSU. And, he may be the reason why Texas will win.

Eventually, I'd rather have Ped State win it all so that we don't have to hear from Texas or OSU!

I think you're right. Manning didn't see the field against ASU, I think they were holding back for this game.

OSU can FO, but Texas is the queen of choking on the big stage, so get ready for that.
