Clemson Schedule

Clemson's hasn't beat a team with an above .500 record. They're more fraudulent in the top 10 than Penn State is in the top 5.

Clemson's wins include
2-4 App State
3-4 NC State
2-4 Stanford
1-5 FSU
2-4 Wake Forest

I don't think you will find a real Texas fan who will say Georgia can't win this game. We all know you have a great team. Is it as good as the last 3 years? Maybe not.. but still damn good.

We have pretty much steamrolled all of our opponents, and we haven't been tested yet. We definitely have a good team, but it's still TBD if we have a great team. My eyes say we are better than last year, and I have said that all season long.

Our best asset is our depth. Sark has said multiple times that there isn't a noticeable difference between the 1's and 2's at any position, and I believe that to be true based on what I have seen so far. We have played a bunch of guys, and it all looks the same regardless of who is out there.

Our OL plays about 8 guys, but Banks and Williams would be the hardest to replace imo. Both are being projected as 1st round picks in the next draft. I was skeptical on Williams, but the dude is playing great.

Either way, I expect both teams to punch each other in the mouth. It will be fun.

How is that even possible when I don’t even have 2k posts?

How come you’re whining at me when I’m the Texas fan commenting on the thread about Texas?

Maybe whine toward the people actually derailing the thread?

I'm going with..

Texas 31
Dawgs 17

Seems about right to me. If Quinn is still rusty our point total may be a bit lower, if he comes out his normal self, 31 points on a decent D.

100%

I expect this game to be a dog fight. Georgia will probably play their best game all season so far. After the past few disappointing weeks, getting the opportunity to go in and knock off the #1 team in the country should be motivation enough for them.

I have this game close for 3 quarters, Texas pulls away in the 4th. 34-21 Texas.

BigBro you have had some pretty reasonable takes. I am going to tell you what can happen in this game…if UGA is able to run the ball on TX it’s going to be a problem for Texas. The best defense vs Sark is keeping his offense off the field. We are all going to find out together how good Texas is this game.

Texas has dominated their games this year. UGA is battle tested. We are going to see who is ready to respond when they get punched in the mouth because it should be a slobber knocker. Your fans that are out here claiming 41-6 UTx are in la-la land. These are the games Kirby Smart lives for…it’s going to be a war

Archibald, you post some version of this in every fricking thread you touch:

It’s so funny watching you jealous wannabes flood this thread due to your envy of Texas having the better school, better team, and getting more attention.

Posting that every place derails every thread.

Please stop.

It would be pretty sad if we gave up as many points in 1 game as we have all year.. but it's certainly possible..

To be fair, Texas has played:

Colorado State 3-3 107th Offense
Michigan 4-2 102nd Offense
UTSA 4-2 105th Offense (tied)
ULM 5-1 105th Offense (tied)
MSU 1-5 71st Offense
Oklahoma 4-2 96th Offense

Georgia is 35th in scoring offense and has played Alabama and Clemson. Texas has played Michigan and Oklahoma who both have absolutely putrid offenses. Michigan beat USC with 32 yards passing. Seriously, that is not a made up stat.

*I understand that the teams listed above are in part ranked where they are because they went up against Texas' defense.

100% agree

Our DL and LB's will be tested. We can stop the run.. but hopefully we don't have to drop an extra guy or two into the box in order to do so..

No argument from me. A good QB is a great equalizer.. See Vanderbilt vs Alabama.. and that is one of the reasons the Big 12 was harder than they get credit for.. all of those teams have a decent QB that can beat you with a great day.. we have yet to face even 1 good QB this year..

But the counterargument is that Beck hasn't looked all that great either.. but Good Beck does show up from time to time..

uga is 92nd in rushing offense avg 134 ypg but they are getting 4.65 yds/rush. If we keep that number in the low 3's and limit their explosive plays on offense (uga is 9th in passing offense where we are 2nd in passing defense), I think they will have a long day of playing catchup.

uga is giving up 11.54 yds/completion and we have the best group of WRs in CFB.

I'm looking forward to this match up. I don't believe uga has the speed in their secondary to keep up with EVERY WR while also having to account for Helm. I think we are a complete nightmare matchup for uga on paper.

I hope it is not a close game, because Bert Auburn has not been trustworthy honestly. He has .667% to Peyton Woodring's 90%.

Fair points, but like Rod Babers said last night on OTF. Being 6 games into this season and only allowing 3 Touchdowns (all of which have been in garbage time) is very impressive. Doesn't matter who you're playing, that's an elite defense.
