I've never been to Lubbock, so I always think of it being some sort of outpost way out there that just has the school and some drilling operations from listening to people talk about it. But there are almost 270k people living there. That's way bigger than what I had pictured in my mind from people always making fun of it.

By the way, I actually have nothing against Lubbock. I grew up in South Texas, full of water moccasins, rattlesnakes, mosquitoes, and hurricanes… hot and violent Texas weather helps intimidate opponents and adds to the Texas mystique…

I admire their brash.
Let's push the system to the brink by blatant illegal payments and poaching, forcing the NCAA to take us to court.
