Saban was "broken" after losing to Texas and just so happened to go out and put together perhaps the best coaching job of his career after that in 2023? Is that what we are going with? You can celebrate Bama losing in the way that they did, Lord knows that I was happy to see it, but let's not get carried away with the self-idolatry here, especially after getting clamped in Columbus

Nah - good coaching and recruiting did. It I won’t deny Ala’s stacking talent for a few years was a successful cycle. Back to Dubois, Shula level program. Happens.

There is no fanbase that thinks they’re the main character more than Texas. Sheesh.

All you really said was that the Saban dynasty began with rose bowl 09 because colt got hurt. I already said that. I didn’t go into our own wandering the desert story. I’m just glad those lost years are over. You don’t know what sort of pain you are in for because NIL is already here— what Deux ex machina can help a lowly class of people like Bama, without their football players being elite?

Nothing interesting or good is coming out of Bama anymore. Maybe you can get a show and get that Abby Lee Miller Sorority Tok dance money.

Due to Texas fans being short on achievements and long on expectations and generally being obnoxious twats with no redeemable qualities, they don't understand many things properly.

Any victim would have sufficed during the '09 season, Texas was just lucky enough to wander into a meat-grinder and get ground up.

As far as the 2023 season, Bama lost to Texas by 10 points and then won 11 games straight to lose a close one to Michigan by 7 points. Equating the sequence of events to Texas "ending" Saban is a fantasy.

Dreaming up an illogical fantasy, that you know is false, to entangle the gullible and weak-minded says more about you than anyone that would believe what you have stated.

According to the dreams of a dumbass, Texas A&M also broke Saban before Bama went on to win 8 straight games to eventually lose to Georgia during the 2021 season.

So, Texas A&M actually broke Saban and Bama first, before being re-broken by Texas.

The Longhorn mascot, Matthew McConaughey, thinks he is the main character more than Texas thinks they are the main character.

It's a confusing dilemma for both him and the team.

They simply can't help themselves. It is ingrained in them from birth.

They are a 6 that has been told they are a 10 their entire lives. Nothing you say will convince them otherwise, so they will continue to gluck, gluck their own sauce.

I feel fine. Clearly, Texas coming to the SEC and heralding the new era of big time college football didn’t sit well with a lot of those in the antebellum south. There wasn’t, and still isn’t, much that is precious down that way and having SEC football as an identity and purpose was good enough. Now that’s even gone.

And I actually like Bama!

Though when it comes to LSU I do wonder if they will be relevant in a generation. I guess there has to be something to aspire to in Louisiana besides drug dealing and poverty and general criminal ambition.

Texas hasn’t won a meaningful game on a 1080p TV.

I assume 90% of this conference doesn’t understand winning playoff games are meaningful because they’ve never done it. Sourest of the sour grapes, the non-blue bloods are here.

Texas couldn’t even beat Georgia after two attempts. If it weren’t for a 12-team playoff matching Texas with a bad Clemson team last year, Texas would still have 0 playoff wins.

ETA: I forgot Texas also beat powerhouse ASU in double OT after some terrible calls

This is quite the statement coming from a fan of a school that hasn't won shite in 20 years. When the frick does Texas become relevant again?

I cant lie, sometimes i feel like these teams that play texas get an insight and become good after, we beat Saban with LSU then he became powerhouse like he figured out how to peak his craft afterward
Same thing with washington a couple years ago and several other teams.

Jesus Christ. Just simply stepping on the field with Texas is program changing now? Why can't Texas "peak it's own craft" at this point if y'all have been changing other programs for over 20 years?

I thought Aggy was delusional. They don't have shite on you frickers.
