Seems to be a Texas thing. Saban should be mad at UT too.

Texas is named by the NCAA along with Miami when it comes to collectives.

Don't remember the Texas coach hold a press conference to 100% deny everything. Jimbo brought this on himself

And Florida and OU and Ohio State and Miami. But those are just the public ones. Saban confirmed in the video that Alabama has a collective, too. In truth, every major program has a collective.

Paying 50k a year for all offensive lineman in the test collective, just to see if it works

Saban is just mad because he didn't think of the collective thing first. Now he's making up rules against collectives that don't exist and getting mad at them.

While begging boosters to give more money to his so he can give all his players more money from it.

We're also not a school in the top 10 in all-time sanctions that is stuck in College Station with only one 10-win season in the past 20+ years. And we didn't just mysteriously sign eight 5-star players after losing to Mississippi State at home.

Many schools have one, Saban says later in the video Alabama has one, but “they go about it the right way”. He’s just acting like their sh** don’t stink too.

Yes, the school over in Austin paraded some deal for offensive linemen that they later had to take down as something like that is truly again the NIL rules.

No, you idiots signed the #5 class after going 5-7, losing to Kansas at home. And most of the commitments came after the Twitter collective announcements. Don't play all high and mighty, whorns. You are worse than pretty much any team out there which is why the NCAA named you and Miami in it's announcements about walking back NIL

Because the team will have 35-40 new players in the biggest roster turnover in school history? Not hard to sell playing time there.

Also, I'm not really buying that the players chose beautiful College Station, Texas for their championship history seeing as none of them were alive the last time a&m won a conference division or even played for a conference title

Apparently there were some legal hurdles in Louisiana regarding collectives as they weren’t technically legal here. I know the powers that be were working with state legislature to change that asap so I guess it got sorted out.

Come on xwing, you are smarter than this. Players don't put that much credence in the town. It is about the program, the school, the facilities, the coaches, the fans, etc. What town it is in really does not have that much to do with it.

If the city the school was in played a big part, LoSerU would never be able field a team. Baton Rogue is the armpit of the US. There literally is nothing nice to say about BR.

College Station is a college town. Some kids like that the central focus of the town is the university. Austin is not. It is just a popular big city in a pretty area that happens to have a large university in it. The players don't go to tu because it happens to be in Austin.
