Texas really has taken over the conference from Alabama

Texas gets the game AT Tennessee to be at 11am. #1 team in the country against a ranked opponent gets put in the 11am time slot. That’s some home cooking by the SEC right there.

You realize your conspiracy theory results in Bama playing a home game at night against a very competitive USCe team?
Do you think Bama wanted to play that game at 11AM? No.

Quit trolling. Texas A&M at LSU is the night game on ABC. That's a marquee match up as well and A&M/LSU is a rivalry game with Kiffin Mania to boot.
The battle of UTs while interesting because of the conference implications is nowhere as sexy.

Oh, remember Alabama's regular season SEC championship last year? Yeah, I don't remember it, either. In fact, I don't think anybody except Tide fans remembers it.

Yea but Oklahoma versus UGA got the 2:30 time slot. That should have went to Texas versus Tennessee 100%

You also have to remember there's more at play such as each team has to appear x amount of times, etc. There's more in the calculation than just picking which game on which slot week by week.
Your initial premise is faulty.

Tennessee have been ranked higher then

We were warned about UT. The warnings were correct.

Nobody is scared to play Texas.
That's the difference

LOL. BAMA has 6 NCs since FL last won the SEC. You should probably find something else to try and be clever about.

I don't know what planet you were living on during the off-season. But Alabama fans were constantly talking about their regular season SEC championship, especially when defending DeBoer.
That was a reference to the fact that Alabama was the top seed in last's year's SEC championship game. Of course, that ignored the fact that Alabama's #1 seed was from a 4 way tiebreaker in the first place, and that Alabama's loss to 5-7 FSU didn't count in the SEC standings. And Alabama got routed in the SEC title game, and then got routed in the playoffs.

Weird, they could have just said Alabama kicked the shite outta everyone else.
But ok.

AJ McCarron’s comments with Sisley would indicate mini Manning isn’t the QB he’s being made out to be. UT has historically dropped games to TCU or Houston after climbing the mid season polls. I expect the same in 2026.

You can qualify it however you want, but literally none of that takes away from the fact that a second-year coach played in the SECCG last season and won a (historic first-round upset) game in the CFP.
I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings.
The only people who continue to feel this is a "sick burn" are coincidentally fans of teams that lost six, seven, and eight games last year.
